Now, here's the thing: Victoria's father is right.  She can fudge the law just enough to stick around as heir while married to a non-purple fairy, even though she's bound to get a ton of social disapproval for it.  It isn't technically illegal for an heir to be married to a non-purple, only a monarch.  But, unless she were willing to divorce her husband whenever her parents died or abdicated or otherwise lost their throne, she couldn't gain it.  Still, she figures she can cross that road when she comes to it.
