Aylia has a very direct approach to things.  She also isn't that much fonder of interruptions than X is.  While she doesn't mind the idea of Loretta spilling the beans to her parents, she has no reason to want to be there, and she's only interested barely.  Meanwhile, Loretta's parents are shocked and fumbling for some explanation that makes sense to their previous experience.  Loretta realllllly could have handled this a liiiiiittle bit more smoothly.  She doesn't always think things through clearly!
