So now we know what black fairy magic is!  And now we also know why X can manage to get away with practically anything.  X generates a constant sort of "don't notice me" field, probably without even realizing she's doing it.  Still, just because Victoria and Mordran have figured this much out -- and suspect the rest -- that doesn't mean they've going to run off and start blabbing.  Neither of them is particularly interested in gossiping, even if they suspect something shocking.
