I love this strip!  I had so much fun drawing it.  This is just . . . a classic conflict in Loretta's family.  I also have to say, this is one of those few times when it works to introduce a conflict and solution so close to each other!  I figured Lionel's sly plan belonged exactly where I put it, because leaving it till a later strip would make it a distraction from the main point of this storyline, and it would be sad to leave this minor, but important-to-Loretta, situation without any happy solution.  ;P
