Victoria, being a princess who was rather spoiled in her home kingdom, has a highly refined sense of musical appreciation.  Needless to say, Carolynn's version of music would drive her absolutely berserk.  To give you an idea, the sound of mosquitoes is even worse for fairies than humans, because of their size: mosquito buzzing sounds at least twice as shrill and maddening to them.  And Victoria's not exaggerating (much) about how annoying Carolynn's song is to her.  Which Carolynn loves!
