Oh, that's right, I remember his name now!  You'll see it mentioned later, I'm pretty sure.  The girl in the last panel is his sister that he mentioned two strips ago -- she's older than him, named Sallie, and as you can probably tell, a lot more down-to-earth.  I'm not sure where he goes to school, but it's probably one meant to train future politicians or knights, since most nobles and counselors' children get sent to schools like that.  Not many have the talent to get sent to magical schools.
