A lot happened after Albert got turned into a werewolf and before he came to Aylia for help, and of course Aylia wouldn't have been there for any of it.  Remember the pendant Albert wears that keeps him from transforming? (It's mentioned in Strip #20 and Strip #44, in case your memory needs refreshing.)  Well, it had to have come from somewhere -- and the most likely person he'd go to for help would be a full wizard he knew, like Aylia's father.
