I usually listen to music while lettering my strips, since I don't need to focus all that much on what I'm doing -- it's not like writing, where I have to focus completely, or else I won't get anything right at all.  I mostly listen to anime soundtracks, because I don't collect much other music -- and most of the non-anime soundtracks I have are soundtracks for other things anyway!
