Thanks to Tilia's increasing humiliation over X's actions, Alexis (who looks exactly like her) is able to make more and more excuses to avoid the royal court.  Tilia keeps trying to find a good time to officially announce the existence of Corinn's family, but there's always some kind of political snafu she's trying to solve, and X is all too often in the middle of some aspect of it.  At last, with a great deal of frustration, and after a great deal of arguing from Alexis, Tilia gives up on the official acknowledgement.  She is less than pleased when Alexis's response is "HURRAY!"

Alexis spends the years before this dutifully putting in as little effort as she can get away with in her protocol lessons, not bothering to mention whenever X is about to cause trouble, and finishing her master's degree.  By the time Queen Tilia gives up on trying to educate her properly, Alexis is well settled into her job as a laboratory research analyst, and is quite happy.

Given X's continuing track record of trying to scare off Alexis's boyfriends over the next decade, Alexis doesn't even mention to her when she finds Mr. Right and gets engaged.  She just introduces him to her parents, tells them the time and place, and they drag X along at the very last minute.  Naturally, X is enraged.  Naturally, X tries to blow up the wedding.  Naturally, Aylia is already in place to intervene.

Alexis has two children, a boy and a girl, who are both bright but otherwise quite ordinary.  She eventually figures out a way to make her wings invisible-and-insubstantial permanently -- thanks to some experimenting by Uncle Alzaaro -- and is very pleased to find that neither of her children have a trace of fairy DNA in their genes.
