Yep!  Been meaning to get to this storyline for ages, but it never seemed the correct time to introduce it.  Went through five or six wildly different drafts, too; I could never find a version I thought fit the characters and situation sufficiently.  Till I finally reached this one!  I could have done this storyline a few months (of comic strip time) earlier, probably, but I needed to have gone through it myself before I could feel comfortable writing about it.  I think this timing works slightly better, anyway.
