I've been meaning for ages to do a Kuralla storyline starting with the previous strip; I just didn't have a good enough idea of what she would instead be doing.  Then I came up with the idea of her listening to Carolynn's band!  (Evil grin.)  In case you've forgotten, Carolynn's band hasn't actually been performing for them -- just practicing.  This means that Gundur believes he's granting them a tremendous favor by arranging an actual performance for the plebians here today.
