X is just not the sort of person Dron's used to dealing with.  He specializes in pushing people's buttons and learning how they think according to what angers or frustrates them.  Then he points out what he's learned about them, and pays interested attention to whether they're willing to listen to his insights, or whether they will just get more offended.  X . . . doesn't work that way.  It is possible to irritate her, but it takes a great deal, and she doesn't interact with irritants, even then.
