Ah, Dron . . . so quick to try to push a stranger's buttons.  That probably was the most efficient way to make X come to see him -- seeing as Dron knows Corinn's been missing for years, so he's guessing X's parentage is not common knowledge -- but it's not the most efficient way to, er, endear her to him.  Dron's preference for extreme directness is exceeded only by X's, and her patience is nowhere near as long as his tends to be.  Pushing buttons with X does not tend to work helpfully.
