As I've said, Heather and Ashley aren't horrible people.  They have their flaws, certainly -- Heather is a total ditz queen, and Ashley can be quite malicious if she wants to be -- but they're not evil, they just tend to display their worst sides to their roommates more frequently.  (Probably because the "nerd-girl" and the "geek-girl" greatly distress Heather, and rub Ashley the wrong way.)  Anyway, I find it interesting that Linnea's not a willing ally in this, while Ashley . . . oddly . . . is.
