I have to admit, I rather enjoy Dron's claws.  Daria and Cecelia rarely seem to do much with theirs, but Dron likes to point with his, and even snag stuff with them.  I'm not sure what the "founding ceremony" is, exactly, but I'm guessing it's some sort of anniversary-of-the-school's-founding celebration that the people in charge like to hold every year, and they keep trying to rope Dron into being the guest of honor, or guest speaker, which he haaaaaates.  Too respectable for him!
