This storyline wound up significantly darker than I originally planned, what with Aylia getting in a huge fight with one of her friends, and Aylia's mother successfully guilt-tripping her way into the room.  (Bangs head on desk.)  This really isn't Aylia's day, is it?  The problem is, the duchess really means it when she bursts into hysterical tears at the drop of a hat, which makes her really hard to deal with -- either you just give in, or she'll make your life miserable with extreme sobbing and guilt-trips.  (Sigh.)
