From the beginning, I've had several important goals for the art in this strip.  First, I wanted it to improve over time, yet never actually change style (because a change of style is jarring and pulls readers out of the story).  Second, I wanted to forgive myself for making mistakes and move on when I did, rather than trying to go backwards and correct them (I'm all too prone to perfectionism).  And third, I wanted to stay consistently fast-paced in the creation of my strips, so I could always keep my update schedule.
