Of course Loretta's dare would have provoked Kurthan into coming back for one class, but he wouldn't have come back again after that.  I considered showing that in a storyline, but I figured it wouldn't be much different from their first class, so what would be the point?  The sad thing is, if Kurthan had actually bothered to teach his class, the students might be decent enough now at swordfighting that they wouldn't drive him crazy -- but Mordran doesn't know the subject well enough to help them improve.
