Woo hoo, Loretta's learning magic!  It'll be awhile before she's really competent with anything, but she's at least now learned how to do simple things that anybody can learn to do.  :)  It actually wouldn't be impressive for most people in Aylia's world to be able to activate a transportation pendant, since pretty much everyone learns how to do things that easy from young childhood.  But Loretta was raised in a culture without magical learning at all, so it's an excellent first step for her.
