Daria's human form took her months to learn -- and only months to learn.  To put this in perspective, transformation magic is harder for dragons than any other sentient species, and most humans or Gorgons have to spend years to learn how to transform themselves (much less another person) from one sentient species to another.  Your average dragon would probably have to spend a century learning how to make a convincing human form, if they felt it worth the effort.  Daria learns amazingly fast.
