After finishing the previous storyline, I felt it was time to wrap the rest of the second Christmas Break up, rather than continuing it.  It had already lasted for quite a long time, after all, and I was anxious to get started on the fourth semester, now that I had finished all the plot points preceding it.  So I brought Jenny's mother back, picking up where Strip #964 left off, and gave her part of the story something resembling closure.  It was time to wrap up all the serious stuff and move on to something fun!
