Kuralla's fascination with past Oracles hasn't waned in the past months she's been away, has it?  I'm not sure how she's been doing her research, but I imagine she's been looking up anything she can find in any royal or village libraries they pass, to say nothing of listening eagerly of rumors or legends or other such things.  I doubt it's occurred to her to ask the Sages to help her, though their abilities would probably be very useful in researching.  Unless she just enjoys doing the research for its own sake!
