Transportation magic isn't an easy thing to learn, generally speaking, which is why so few people in Aylia's world know it.  Aylia learned it pretty quickly, but that's because she's extremely good at learning spells from books (or pieces of paper, as the case may be).  Most people have to be shown how to do it, and often guided their first few times, before they can make it work at all.  But Felincia can't just cast the spell on her brothers, so they'll have to learn to do it themselves.
