Felincia likes sleeping on the floor.  They don't have mattresses in her family's house, or the close equivalent that are popular in Aylia's world -- her family doesn't have a lot of money, for starters, and even if they did, they wouldn't have the floor space to put such things down.  So most of the people in her family sleep in wolf shape all the time (except for during the new moon, another reason why it's so good to avoid the place around then), and wolves don't usually mind sleeping on the ground.
