That fluffy thing Stefanee's sitting on is a common type of bed in Aylia's world.  Aylia's bed at home looks just like that, too (see Strip #500, Strip #528 and Strip #537 for examples).  They're attached to walls, rather than floors, so it's common to find one fairly high up off the ground.  In fact, as you can see in Extra #44, Aylia likes to keep her own way up high, so she has more space for bookshelves below it.  Here, Stefanee's sitting on what is essentially the equivalent of the top of a bunk-bed.
