Now, this is a strip I feel truned out well, artistically-speaking.  I wavered over the content several times before I decided to keep it as it is, however, since it really isn't funny, and I like to keep the tone of everything as light as possible in this story, especially at the punchlines.  It's a crucial part of this storyline, however, and a crucial part of understanding Aylia's extended family, so . . . I kept it in.  I still worry a little that it's not-at-all funny, though.  (Sigh.)
