Poor King Richard . . . he must have been sure their family's last chance for a wizard in Aylia's generation of the family was gone when she left Umbria.  He didn't know she hadn't gone by her own free will, after all.  Aylia's words in the third panel should give new meaning to the conversation in Strip #1 -- Aylia wasn't just reading, she was waiting for news that her father would let her go to his old wizarding school now.  Which he, obviously, didn't.  Poor Aylia.
