Well, Aylia's reaction here is probably pretty predictable.  (Hey, that's alliteration!)  But then, since it really isn't her decision to make, and she needs to be reminded of that -- enter Queen Tilia.  Of course she would know about the situation beforehand (she is Albert's mother), and she'd probably be monitoring things through some kind of magical means, being the queen of a magical kingdom, and even having a (not-very-good) wizard for a husband.  Makes perfect sense!
