This strip is based on a true story.  Not that it happened to me quite the same way, but remember when I said X was inspired by my roommate Crystal?  Well, Crystal came home once and announced, "Guess what we learned how to make in my chemistry class today!"  And thus the script for this strip was born -- Crystal and I both agreed that it had to go into my comic strip.
